A love story
We met in a queue for coffee in Mexico City, arguing about which of us had arrived first. Neither of us was right.
Seven years on we are still arguing about things of roughly that importance, and still arriving everywhere together.
In 2025 we spent a whole September on the lake. We came back sure we would return one day with everyone we love.

Villa Balbiano
A sixteenth-century villa on the western shore at Ossuccio, with terraced gardens that step down to the water. You can reach it by road or, better, by boat.

Staying over
We have held rooms in three places, at different distances and different prices. Mention our names when you book.
Hotel in Tremezzo
Ten minutes from the villa by road. The closest, and the easiest if you would rather not drive.

Flights- Milan Malpensa (MXP) or Linate (LIN). Malpensa has the direct flight from Mexico City.
Train- Milano Centrale to Como San Giovanni, about an hour. Then a boat or a car up the western shore.
Boat- The lake service connects Como, Lenno and Ossuccio several times a day.
Car- Possible, but the shore road is narrow and busy in June. Avoid driving it after dark if you can.

Questions
Can I bring someone?
If your invitation says "and guest", yes. If you are not sure, write to us and we will sort it out.
Are children invited?
The ceremony and drinks are for everyone. Dinner is adults only, and there is childcare at the villa while it runs.
What should I wear?
Garden formal: light suits, long or midi dresses. Worth knowing: the grass is soft and the jetty gets wet.
How do I get to the villa?
Boats leave the Ossuccio jetty from 3:00 pm, every fifteen minutes. If you would rather come by road, there is parking.
When do I need to reply by?
1 March 2027. After that the villa will not take changes.
